Greetings and Salutations Episcopal Leaders, Connectional Officers, Presiding Elders, Pastors, and Laity!

In the spirit of Thanksgiving and Gratefulness, we are 22 days away from hosting you at our 2021 Mid-Winter Reporting Joint Annual Mid-Winter Council Meeting and Quadrennial Appreciation for the Ninth Episcopal District here at Beebe Memorial Cathedral in beautiful Oakland, CA.

As you prepare to attend this year's conference, we want to provide you with some updated information:

Hotel

The Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge Hotel, 1800 Powell Street,Emeryville, CA 94608, is sold out! We are trying to secure a smaller book of rooms at other nearby hotels so more information will come.

Transportation

I know many of you have secured your own ground transportation for this upcoming weekend. However, as mentioned earlier in a previous communication, we will provide limited transportation from the respective airports for pickups and departures to the hotel with limited shuttle service to the Cathedral for our council meetings and activities at no cost to you. Currently, we only have 22 individuals who have signed up for this service. We desire to be a good host, but we need your help filling out the below form. It will be challenging for us to accommodate you at the last minute.

Please use ride-sharing as much as possible for those who are local, as parking is limited around the Cathedral. If you need transportation, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/vB7WAZeYrERXVsvs7.

Lastly, on Sunday, December 12th, we will be having our annual Christmas at the Cathedral Holiday Experience featuring guest Keke Wyatt. For more information, please go to www.experiencebmc.org and please join us if you decide to extend your visit.

Finally, please see download the Mid-Winter Council Fact sheet with pertinent information regarding your time with us while attending the conference.

Thank each of you in advance for your full participation in making this Joint Annual Conference a success!
